Camargo Ajax
Camargo Ajax was one of two hounds to be the firsts to become entered into foster care with HRF. He and sibling Camargo Austin. Ajax and litter mates happened to be a little on the shy, skittish side when hunting. While they did have a short hunting career they were not ideal for hunting needs and they were recommended for retirement and adoption. Camargo Austin
Meet Camargo Austin, brother to Camargo Ajax. The two started this journey together and are both living the grand lifestyle of a retired foxhound. Austin now resides in Union, KY. Dexter & GracieLou
Two love pups! Born two months apart with very different stories. Dexter (left) GracieLou (right) have been loved and became foster fails to two HRF members that couldn’t say no. Dexter resides on the east side of Cincinnati, OH with his humans and GracieLou in Union, KY with her humans, and Camargo Austin. Whenever possible these two like to meet up for trail rides and playtime. The two did not have hunting careers, by no choice of their own, but they both feel they would have been ROCKSTAR hunting hounds with great voices, stamina, and speed!
Tryon Oxbow & Camargo Logan
Two of the most recent adopted Camargo Hounds (June of 2023). Oxbow is looking away in this image but he is not shy, he has stolen the hearts of many that visited the kennel for hound exercising with is affection. He is also father to Camargo Ajax and Camargo Austin. Camargo Logan is a large wonderful companion enjoying life with his new hound parents in Wilmington, OH with a cup of Joe on the deck. They have run of five acres that is contained by an underground fence that they both have adjusted to beautifully. They have a few other house felines to share the space with and sometimes they have to vie for dog-bed space or just opt for the sofa. Tryon Oxbow 2016 & Camargo Logan 2016
